Since Parkerizing is a chemical process to make a metal coating with a phosphate I don't see how it could be done to a non metallic surface.

well, you could always put a rhino lining on it or a cheap truck bedliner material......rhino lining is usually pretty thick,though......having it dipped would help, too
Good shot placement + well constructed bullet = DEAD

Why?  It's already a synthetic stock.

How about sand paper? Some course sand paper lightly over the hole stock. I don't know if it works just something that I thought might work. :D

Mix sand and black paint, apply with a brush. Rough up the surface with sandpaper first though so it'll stick better.

I helped a buddy spray paint a hot pink Ruger 10-22 stock with an aerosol can of automotive trunk paint.  It was black with flecks of white.  You can get the fleck spray at Walmart for about $6 a can.  We washed the stock down with laquer thinner first.  With three coats the finish seems really durable and it leaves a pebble finish.  No pink showing yet.

NONYA - james is pretty accurate in his description of what to do.  I have a local gunsmith who regulalry paints gunstocks.  He uses a dark grey mixture with some material to give it a solid feel and grip.  I have one of his 10/22 stocks and love it.  I will have him paint up one of my sets of #4 Mk1 stocks as well as one I have for a 98 Swedish 8 (mm).

If you would like I will try and get the details of what he uses and how he applies it.  HTH.  Mikey.

A friend of mine had the same issue with a synthetic stock. Sand blasting helped and it hides the scratches very well.
