I was counting stocking stuffers last night and realized that I was sort one stocking stuffer for my son. So I made this BB bore mortar for him. He should get a bang out of it.

Red_Leg,
Try cannonFuse.com. We build small cannon and use 1/16 Visco fuse. At thi time of detonayion, the "fuse hole" turns into a "vent hole".
Some of our barrels are shown in "BACKYARD CANNON FUN" a few pages back in this forum. It has been one of the 'most watched' topics on this forum, thanks to RAYS89.
You can see more of our barrels at www.brooks-usa.com.

Here's a little mortar I made last night.

The one in front of the quarter.
The trunnion's silver brazed like the "big one".

I didn't put a vent in there yet. I expect I'll drill it 1/64th.

Anyone have fuse that size?
The chamber's only 1/16th.

Very Cool. I have never seen fuze that small maybe you could use a piece of red hot wire and stick it into the vent hole.
