Most 22-250 factory barrels (including T/C) have 1 in 12 to 1 in 14 inch twist barrels. This pretty much limits you no more than 55 grain bullet weights.
If you want to shoot something heavier, consider getting a faster twist, say 1 in 9 inch. This will stabilize up to about 75 grain bullets, depending on bullet make and shape. Or, 1 in 8 twist for the long range 80 grain competition bullets.
As for me, I prefer the 52 grain Berger bullets with moly coatings for my .22 caliber needs.
