Doing a show in Del Mar
« on: December 07, 2005, 05:43:13 PM »
I am hoping to make it to the gun show at the Del Mar fair grounds in San Diego, Ca. which is put on by "Crossroads of the West".

I will have two tables of cannons. I will also be introducting mortars for the first time.  I'm trying hard to get them finished.  24 pound Corhorn's 1/2 scale.  bored to shoot soda cans.  The tube and hardware is painted black with drab olive green on the bed.  These  two mortars are built to scale from copies of  the original plans.  The tube have the rim bases as did the original.  The tubes also have the markings, that is weight, serial No. year and manufricture's initals.

If any one gets to the show be sure to say HI! and, let me know who you are.

Rick -

In the course of doing gun shows I ran across a fellow who sold high-end shotguns and a few double rifles.  Most of his sales were two to three days after the show to folks that didn't happen to have the 2 to 3 grand in their pocket at the time.  FWIW.

Best of seasons' sales Dude!

When I lived in the PRK south I used to go to those shows. At least until the parking got too expensive and the entrance fee got to be sky high.
I may not be completely sane, but at least I don't think I have the power to influence the weather.
