at least to my wallet. This place is going to cause me great financial hardship.
I haven't even shot the little cannon I got yesterday.
Already I am wanting a golfball mortar, a swivel cannon (golfball bore), a soda can mortar and a cannon so big I will have to tow it on a trailer behind my jeep.
  Oh God! I need help.
Is there a support group for my problem. One with money to support my problem, perhaps?
I may not be completely sane, but at least I don't think I have the power to influence the weather.

Save yourself a little money.  Take out the back seat and put the cannon in the back of the jeep.... wouldn't need to buy a trailer that way.  An additional benefit is that you would no longer have to put up with those obnoxious tailgaters.

I wonder,
how much trouble one would get into, if one made a BP barrel loading,
cannon that "looked" like, the artillary guns, towed behind the jeeps in WW2,
now that would slow traffic down,

OH gawd, i need help,
Lookin to learn, and keep all my parts.

I have three possible solutions for you:

1. We can have CW turn his collar and and you can get on your knees and pray.

2.  I can frizz my hair up and let my glasses droop down my nose  while you lay on the couch and we will discuss your issues.

Or the best to deal with the  problem:

My name is Ray and I'm a ........  oops wrong group. I know I'm not like you guys I only started this hobby in April. I know it might seem like a problem because I have 24 cannon, but but they are small. I know I can do this in moderation, I know I can control this............ I think I'll grab me a cup of coffee and join the rest of the group.

I too have a great desire to at least own a 8 or 10 inch mortar but alas my wallet will probably never allow that to happen. This cannon addiction can be a fun thing to be in and a depressing one as well.To illustrate what I mean, I met this fellow the other day who literally owns maybe 20 or more authentic cannons ranging from revolutionary ,Civil war to WW II and so forth. He has a ware house full of cannons and cannons balls galore etc etc. This guy is not the benefactor of Howard Hughs but just has a regular job 8 to 5 and lives in a modest neighborhood. I haven't figured out yet how he manages to own all these cannons but I'm working on it. I would feel happy to ever own just one 10 inch mortar. This gentleman buys and sells cannons like I bid on a 10 dollar item on ebay sometimes bidding upwards of $45,000 for a cannon. There appears to be several folks around the nation who have the same addiction to owning cannons and have ammesed huge collections of authentic cannons worth fortunes.  I don't know how they do it or what planet they must have come from but it does make me feel sort of inadequate when I feel lucky to be barely able to afford a miniature Cohorn. I guess you just have to suck it up and realize that some of us/they are more fortunate than others and decide what you really want , focus on that item and keep trying to get it if it takes years and years.

It would be nice to have something full scale, But in reality I have to stay on the much smaller scale. I'm starting to notice that this "Illness" is progressive. And it is progressing rapidly. But its not my fault. Its the Irishman.  He is enabling me. By sending all these barrels. :o
