OT But what do ya think???
« on: December 01, 2005, 04:54:23 AM »
What do you think about EDGAR CAYCE???  He was a modern day nostrodamus he gave a lot of true predictions.  Right now he predicted the weather we are seeing with the increase in storm activity and natural disasters leading up to the end of life as we know it. In the year 2012 its suppose to be the time when the north and south poles of the earth switch positions.  I figure they mean the earth does a 180 degree turn.  I have always had a feeling we have been here before and some natural disaster is the reason we have so many lost civilizations in the past that are unexplained what happened to the people.  Some of his stuff is pretty interesting like the Atlantis its suppose to be in the middle of the ocean. And there is some information/records about it buried at the foot of the spinx infront of one of the front paws. There are so many unanswered questions that we will never know about but i still think we were here before and either destroyed ourselves or natural disasters did us in or it was Gods will to start over again till we get the message and get it right.
I know the egyptian pyramids weren't built by hand.  Someone had more knowledge than we have today had to build them.  I don't want to start a flaming war here but what we have been taught/told just doesn't seem the truth when I think about it.  There are so many unanswered and unknowns in our world today. I think sometimes we should focus on the past more to try to get a direction on what the future has instore for us like whats ahead, whats comming and what may happen soon too.

It also seems to me there is Religion and their story or the way they want you to believe it and the real story and the real truth. So why is the real truth hidden.  Why did they burn all the records/books after the wars? I still believe in GOD but just not the way we are taught too.  Maybe i'm running the dogs in the wrong direction but do you have any opinions or thoughts on this?

Makes you wonder about all the unexplained monuments, huge South American designs discerned only from the air, Easter Island and its monuments, Stonehenge (how'd they do that?!!), the Mayans and as you mentioned the unbelievable Egyptian contributions and the list goes on. Maybe we don't understand God as he/she/? really is. I'm sure we don't as the wonders of the world both natural and handmade(?) are hard to explain as just happening.

There's a lot of truths we'll never know and there's a lot of truths hidden from us.  Maybe in the next life we will understand but right now its a puzzle to me.  But it sure makes me wonder about the missing people in the past civilazations.  The power of crystals with atlantis too. Wether Edgar Cayce is right or not only time will tell.  Nostradomas has been close but also had some wrong too. The bible puzzles me too on how close to the times and future it is.  I wish it was in the orginal version and not rewritten so many times for us. I'm sure there are some lost truths there too. Its all very interesting but they all say we can change it.(future)

You actually have a very good point.. you've intrigued me

what i have thought though is after watching "2001 a space odyssey". How like at the end you see the monilith and the star baby or whatever is born... What could be next for human evolution???

rocket/guys;  It makes me wonder with the lost civiliations does a natural disaster happen every so often to clean the slate and we start all  again?  I have a gut feeling we have been here before many times. They say that Atlantis peaked with the power of the crystal, they harnessed it then it destroyed them while they were at their height of civilization. It raises the question are we at the height of our civilization right now? Are we nearing the end?  Edgar Cayce pointed this out and so does the bible somewhat. It just makes me wonder are we soon to be recycled? But keep in mind first it was the year 2,000 the end was suppose to happen and nothing did. Now Edgar Cayce said its 2012 is when the poles are going to switch positions.

This monument to a Latvian who came to the USA and his genius was built when, about the 1920's - 1930's, word is he moved stone blocks by himself weighing up to 18 tons with no explanation today many years later as to how this was accomplished.
"I am a Canadian, free to speak without fear, free to worship in my own way, free to stand for what I think right, free to oppose what I believe wrong, or free to choose those who shall govern my country. This heritage of freedom I pledge to uphold for myself and all mankind."

That guy was in Florida?  I remember seeing a story about him.

Edgar Cayce made thousands of predictions in his lifetime. Some right, most wrong. Same goes for Nostradamus.  Even a blind hog occaisionaly finds an acorn.

The Egyptions did build the pyramids...and did so without any supernatural assistance. We are so accustomed to technology and the amazing machines we have today that most cannot fathom what a huge labor force and time can do.

Read your bible if you have one on false prophets. Only a true prophet makes no false predictions. And it will tell you this curent mahem was all predicted several 1000 years ago. And what you have to look forward to in the future.
