Some pics from my NY hunt.
« on: November 25, 2005, 04:11:22 PM »
I took these last week in NY on sunday. I got a doe sat but there aint no pics of her cuz I forgot to bring the camera up with me. I took these Sunday & while I was hunting the brought my deer to be butchered.  :?  I was a bit put out but understand. They were just trying to help & since they were 2 lazy to climb the hill & hunt took care of what needed doing.

A few of the camp. I been hunting there for 12 years & those guys were there for years when I got in. Its been sold tho & this was likely our last year. Hopefully we can keep the group together.

We hunt up over the top of the hill behind the camp.

A few by my stand.

Ground zero for my doe. Theres one drop of blood & a bunch of fur on each side of where she was standing.

My stand from where she was standing. Looks further than it is, I stepped it off & came up with about 28 yards.

I shot her there with my Rossi using an American eagle 357  158 grain fp & she ran about 30 yards towards camp into this tree.

& a few from a blind I was bowhunting from yesterday morning.

I am still looking for that buck lying down between the two trees.

How did I get over the hill without getting to the top?

I did see that buck. It's got trees on either side of it. :)
