When you get a new FA?
« on: November 25, 2005, 03:58:59 PM »
I just was wondering if others feel the same as me.
Once you get a Freedom Arms handgun, does all your other handguns take a back seat as far as taking them shooting.
I mean, I'm even wanting to sell my beloved 657 that I got my first deer with a handgun. I just don't want to shoot the other handguns anymore.
I must be SPOILED.

Yes. As far as SA’s go, FA, are the only ones I own except for a Ruger Single6 and it’s probably going to be on the road soon. Come to think of it, my DA revolvers don’t see much use anymore either.

Take Care,
Scott

They do tend to make you look at your other handguns as secondary.

All my pistols get shot regularly but I will admit that the Freedom Arms gets more of the "Foreplay"

Yes and no...

Most guns cannot compare but my USFA in 45 Colt locks up nearly as tight as my FA mod83, cylinder gap is 0.003", chamber dimensions are right-on and ultimately it shoots! I like it enough to wonder as to whether I'll really be needing a model 97.

I still enjoy my S&W N frames but have to agree they're not in the same league. TC's are fun too.
