Kel-Tec P11
« on: March 06, 2003, 06:41:11 AM »
Anyone have any problems with Kel-Tec's P11 9 mm??  Mine is fairly new (about 200 rounds fired through it).  It will feed most ammo but I have noticed lately when releasing the slide that on occasion the slide will not close completely while stripping the round out fo the magazine.  If you tap the back of the slide it will then go into full battery!!!  Also the slide stop takes about one gorilla and a bunch of banannas to get it to release with your thumb.  If you pull the slide back and the slide lock releases the gun works fine.  I talked with Kel-Tec and they said to send it back and they would make good on it as they guarantee em for life.  I am going to send it back but was just wondering if anyone experienced the same problem at all.  Thanks for all the good information that is posted out here.  This forum has provided me with a load of information.   :)
