H&R .32
« on: November 20, 2005, 06:37:14 AM »
I have an inexpensive .32 pistol that I bought in 1979.  It is an H&R .32 with removable cylinder (you push a button in front of the cylinder, pull out a long pin, and then load or unload).  It is nickel plated, and I paid $70 at that time.  Do any of you have one?  Do you want to admit it in front of the guys?  Ha ha ha.

Hello Ron,

Welcome to GB. I don't have the particular pistol you are refering to but I do have two old Owl Head gripped pistols that shoot 32 short I believe!! They work too.

Neat old guns. Again, welcome to GB.

Peace be with you,
Scott

Thanks, Scott!  I appreciate it.  Mississippi is a great state.  Were you affected very much by the hurricane?

I live in Jones County. We were told Jones was the third hardest hit county in the state.

We were without power for two weeks and lost about 20 acres of hardwoods on the home place and many many trees on the property we hunt. We had a few shingles off the roof of our house. A few family members had roof damage due to falling trees but nothing we couldnÂ’t fix. The important thing is that no one was hurt.

ThereÂ’s still a lot of work and clean up to do here and there but most of the visible stuff is out of the way.

Thanks for asking.

Take Care,
Scott

I am so sorry.  I was hoping that maybe you lived further up north in the state.  Just take one step at a time, and try not to let it get you down.

I have a small break top Hopkins & Allen Security Police  .32 S&W that I use for side matches in CAS (Cowboy Action Shooting).  I only load it with black powder rounds.  I love this little gem.  The action is very tight, but smooth.

Just another voice in the crowd!!!
