FAQ'S Moderator Help

me my own silly self would like to see a FAQ for this forum similar to the one in the centerfire NEF pages. It should be a sticky and while I am at it might I suggest that it contain information on powder vs pellet information along with Sabot, bullet, prb recommendations, While we are at it how about some links to the products used for these and other modern muzzle loading rifles. Links like to the sabot manufacturer and to some of the many (hornady is one) bullet manufactures. Maybe a poll is in order after deer season of course to find out if this is wanted or needed. What do you guys think. I have gone through 8 pages of information here and others in the Trad and Modern sectons to try to getr up to date.

I agree that a FAQs sticky would be of great help here on this forum. I don't visit here a whole whole lot, but there are a few reasons for that.

1-I have to search through pages of threads, to find something. It takes a lot of time to find answers to sometime small questions. You can see why new members just stop searching and post a new thread on a topic that has probably been discussed may times. A few FAQs would slow this down.

2-I don't own a NEF Muzzleloader...yet. I do plan on buying one, and I believe the addition of a FAQ would be a great way to get a person started in the right direction, with powders, bullets, ...etc like you said that the NEF's have had sucess with.
Especially people that are new to MuzzleLoading all together.

It doesn't have to be too elaborate, just a few pointers, and suggestions, that Redhawk 1 and Wilscott can add to over time.
I do appreciate this fourm, and the Moderators who give of their resources.
In which seem to be doing a great job too :agree:

have a Hawken replica that was given me, not something I want to ruin. I really like the NEF products, and would like to get a huntsman, and some FAQ anwsers would be great. Powder charge size, sabot vs. ball, cap ignition vs. .25 acp. I don't know enough to know that I don't know enough to know. Have to wait for Fadala's book for Christmas. Merry Christmas all, and I get it.
