Would you buy this gun again? Is it not too light? I am also looking at a sako75 ss/syn in the same caliber, mainly for hunting out west. What do you think?

Great gun.  Is it light?  Yes.  In the 300WSM it has some serious kick to it.  In fact, it is at the upper limits of my tolerance for accurate shooting.  I get 1MOA and better with Federal Premium Nosler Partitions and Barnes TSX.

I love the Sakos too, and they are in the same price range as the Kimbers.

Bottom line for me is, if you are going to be doing alot of walking, especially in the mountains, then get the Kimber because of its lighter weight.  If weight is not an issue, then get the Sako.
