Lots of good suggestions here..but I'll step on this slippery slope and make a few too.
No brainers that I see are missing in 550 Americans, and/or including Lux & FS's: 338WMg, 338/06 A Square, 300Wmg w/1x10 twist for 200 gr'ers - all in the double pin'ed 9.3x62 styled stock and drop the Lux Medium Magnum idea altogether, 35 Whelen, 7 RemMg, 7-08 - no excuse in not already having this !, 7x57 limited import if necessary but import some at least in Lux & FS's, 260, 25/06, limited annual order import in 9.3x64 Brenneke - I'd buy one! & 7x64 Brenneke at least in Lux style.
Best of the best in Weatherby calibers by US sales of Weatherby caliber ammo #'s - 300WBy #1, 257Wby #2, and so on for 3 or 4+ ? calibers.
Short Mags are a non issue at this point...but if they are to be included I'd stay in the small handfull of steady sellers with a future according to ammo/new brass sales: 300WSM and 270WSM plus maybe 325WSM but I have no clue what platform to put them in. Kimber solved that but I'm not sure even they are selling enough to justify the expense.
Safari grade 416 Remington in all stock styles because of Rigby ammo availability not to mention cost issue and triple+ the sale rate of 416 Rigby's maybe to equal the # of 375's sold.
Consistent annual offering of Premier Grade 550 Americans in more than just two calibers to compete with Kimber LA's....probably quaduple the market in bigger calibers instead of wasting high grade wood in 527's. Leave the 452/453's alone. Period.
Maybe use Remmy's idea of a "caliber of the year" for a Premier outside of the current 270/30'06 to create more sell through and instant collectors interest. 257 Roberts, 300 Savage, 8x57 etc oldies but goodies with limited sales numbers. I shot the barrel out of a pre USRAC M70 Featherweight push feed and still regret selling it...but won't buy another Roberts of anything on the market today.
I was going to order a CZ Premier 270 in February until Kimber began to ship LA's...now I'll wait to see a Kimber Classic Select and then decide.
Custom shop special orders: For example I would probably buy a 375 Taylor (375x338) in a 9.3 styled stock, or maybe something else like that....9.3x66 SAKO, 300 H&H

?
And the whole Issue of Stainless w/ synthetic stocks will have to addressed sooner or later...but "just" this list to begin with would make a big difference in picking up the slack from Winchester's wood/blue steel Classic/Featherweight would be buyers for a true CRF rifle.
Speaking from the voice of 13 years personal experience in the industry... Stay OUT of the big box retailers like Wally World and rest of the price choppers, let Big Green suck on that price point "profit maker" category all they want. Savage has got to winning that battle!
