Smith L-Frame Scope Mount?

Doea anyone know of a good scope mount for the S&W L-Frame? (M-586 I think).

Check out www.b-square.com/ . They make scope mounts for both new and old frame Smiths as well as many other guns. These mounts do not require gunsmithing to mount. I have had good luck with these on my handguns. Take look at the underside of the topstrap of your L-Frame with the cylinder open. If you see a hole or two (can't remember if both holes can be seen here) that match the location of the screw holding the rear sight in place, then you have the newer frame and would order accordingly. If the holes are not visible from the bottom, you have an older frame. The B-Square mounts a base that accepts Weaver type rings.
