Any information on a custom Mauser (Mattern 9.3 X 57)

I would appreciate any information on a custom Mauser made by Mattern.  It's in  9.3 X 57 any information on that caliber would be appreciated also.

I believe that I've seen an 03 made into a 9.3. I remeber seeing the ammo case that was ordered to make a load for it have 9,3 on the box.

In fact the person who wanted one for Africa is left handed.  The gunsmith saw an article about converting a right handed bolt to left handed in a past issue of the Rifleman.  I watched over the months as it was converted.  Now I am left handed, if I were going to Africa that would be gun of choice.
