1.  22LR

2.  223 REM

3.  50 Cal muzzle loader

4.  300 WSM

5.  375 H&H*

6.  12 Gauge

7.  44 Mag

8.  40 S&W

Don't think they cover it all, but I have a use for all but the 375.  Could be a 45-70 or other big boomer.  Just like to have it around.
I aim to please - but often miss.

.270 win

12 ga.

.45 LC

I don't need anymore....so I will let someone else have my other 4, I know that some people feel a need for more so they should have that chance. I like the ability to make others feel happy about them selfs by choosing some rare or "improved" calibers, there is nothing like giving away self esteem

22lr--plinking and small game
12 gauge--anything that moves at close range
204 ruger--looooong range little stuff
223--long range slightly bigger stuff
25-06--long range deer,antelopes,sheep,goats,etc.
44 mag--short range, typically the length of my house or closer   :-D
300 win mag--long range elk,moose,grizzly
416 rigby--short range grizzly, cape buffalo,or anything else the others may not handle
 :D

hmmmm, after looking at the recoil table for the 416 rigby,I might not be as scared of a charging lion as of the rifle,I think I'll change that to a 375 H&H mag.....if THAT won't kill it,I prolly shouldn't be hunting it
Good shot placement + well constructed bullet = DEAD

Whow, never gave this much though. Let's see:

      22 LR
      223 Rem
      25-06
      6.5x55
      280 Rem
      30-06
stumpped as I don't really have a need for anything larger. Only have six so maybe throw in a......243Win and a 338-06.

Something that becomes painfully obvious looking thru these lists is in each theres a large overlap of ability. Kinda makes me think we should spend more time debating things other than caliber.

22 LR
20 guage
223 rem.
41 mag
50 cal. muzzleloader

These are the ones I have now, in various forms and quantities.  Don't really see much need for more, as where one leaves off, another can take its place.  I might have to throw in a .308, or a .280 if I ever go after something bigger than deer or boar sized game, or move to a state that allows rifles.
