I am toying with the idea of having a custom rifle built on a sako action. 7mm rem. mag most likely.Cost is an issue; any suggestions?

First I would check for any GBO advertisers. If they don't fit your needs, look hard a Pac-Nor. They are a barrel maker and also do installs. Prices are cheap when you consider they lap action lugs, chamber and install. With the money you save, order a nice McMillan or HS stock.

If I remember right, Christensen Arms builds or has an option on the Sako action. Good luck.

My buddy just had a new barrel and stock put on his Sako at
Hart Barrels nice job and man it shoots.
