Krochus,

Very nice rifle you got there. :agree:
Unfortunately, that is not the rare model. but should still be a collectable one day.  I'm watching a used one getting bid on and it's already up to over $300. Great buy - congrats!

According to CZ if it has "Super exclusive" stamped anywhere on it It's the rare one but Either way they only made 3000 rifles in this barrel length.

There are three different versions of this rifle and you have the second version. You are correct that there were only 3000 of these rifles made. The first 110 models had the walnut wood stock (this is the first version) then they switched to the redish colored beech stock (like yours) but still had Super Exclusive stamped on the barrel (second version), then next they switched from stamping Super Exclusive on the barrel to stamping Super BRNO 2500 on them with the beach stock (third version). This info is also from CZ-USA. But like you say, you have 1 of only 3000 rifles. two weeks ago there was a guy that sold two for $300 even but I was just a tad late.
Great rifle and a great buy at any rate.  :toast:

I got out of bed early enough today to shoot in a small bore sillouette match today. I managed a rather poor score overall but the longer barrel and extended sight radius really made it easy to nail those 100 and 75 meter targets. My problems were with the 40 and 50 meter targets, I think my problem stemmed from the fact I was shooting standard velocity ammo. I am beginning to suspect that the sights on this rifle are regulated for Hi-velocity ammo.

On a side note well over half of the people shooting today were shootin 452 american rifles. I was the only person shooting iron sights today.

I'm really glad you guys have this CZ forum.  I'm learning a lot here.
I am currently in the market for a .22 and think the CZ452 may be exactly what I want.

I've noticed CZs poularity has greatly increased lately, much more so than when they were Brno.  I wonder how much of the American buying market they are taking.  I suspect it's substantial if only because of the shoddiness associated with the US "botton line" obsession.  Too much junk is coming from some of the US firms.  Just one mans opinion.  Best wishes.

RIP Cal you are missed by many.
