Some fitting is often required on any stock change.

My plastic to wooden stock on my ADL was a complete drop in.   It was and still is very accurate after the trigger job.  I actually prefer that stock to my other old shiny BDL with the black tip.

Just finished such a conversion. A M700 Titanium 270 Win. The stock is a kevlar sybthetic ADL configuration. I converted to a really nice wood stock in a BDL style. One must change the trigger guard and magazine box. The action screws work fine. It was a 90% stock brought in by the owner. Glass bedded, ebony tip and carved grip cap, Sorbothane pad and a little checkering.. The owner was delighted with the accuracy. First groups were in the 1/2 inch range!
