Covering ports in the Muzzle Brake

Anyone made a sleeve that would fit on the muzzlebrake of the 223 and cut down on the noise. Figured this would be preferable to cutting & recrowning the barrel.
If you have I would love to know how it worked and what you did..

Send it back to T/C they will cut it off for you a 223 does not need it.
