Anybody know of a adjustable rear sight that will fit a model 83 other than the factory offering ?

Pray tell what shortcoming in the factory sight are you trying to rectify?

The price ! . I puchased at a fantastice price a scoped 83 but there were no sights included. I have fired a good number rounds with the scope on it but prefer iron sights on revolvers . I have a couple contender frames a about a dozen barrels that I shoot mostly scoped.

By far the best open sights for an FA are made by Bomar. Many silhouette shooters replace the Iron Works sights with the Bomar for better repeatablity and more available rear notch widths (.062, .080, and .100") The Bomar rear works great with the hooded FA front sight and adjustable post.
