Greener safety in Mauser 98

Hello

I'm guy from finland and writing here first time. I have a question; sometimes i have seen pictures of 98 Mauser which have a british-style Greener safety. Did anyone know how it works in rifle ?

igorrock - Howdy to Finland.  The Greener safety may just block the trigger, but you may wish to pose this question on the Gunsmithing Forum.  Gunnut69 is the moderator there and is one of the most knowledgeable folks we have.  I'm sure he could help you with a more detailed explanation than mine.  HTH.  Mikey.
