There is a pic on the net of a bigfoot somewhere and its different it has no neck and its bigger.  Much more than a shotgun will be needed for the one near you but don't worry the skunkape is far from the ozarks.  You have the bigger bigfoot near you too!!!!!!

I always sleep with my 44 under my pillow and my Hakim w/25rds of 8mm is within arms reach too when i'm in the wilds. The camper windows aren't that strong.  If these things are that strong it could probably walk right thru my trailer in a heart beat?  Or just reach in and pull me out at will if it wanted too.  Luckily I'm a very light sleeper....

A pump shotgun with slugs may not penetrate all that well, but its what I like and feel safe with!

If I could find a Hakin for sale around here I would buy it in a heartbeat!

A shotgun with tungsten heavi-shot buckshot is more than enough for close encounters. It will penetrate armor plate at 100 meters and rip thru kevlar like hot knife thru butter.

That does not look like a Bigfoot, or at least it does not look like the one (or two) I saw.

I would bet a paycheck that this picture is large poster cut-out of an Orangutan, propped up behind some Palmetto Grass.

You can almost see the reflection from the flat surface.

Notice how 2-dimensional the creature looks compared to the Palmettos.

I say it's a hoax.

For those of you who have seen one (in the flesh), can you describe it?

I saw the Lord of the Rings museum exhibit a few weeks ago, and there was a large wax model of an "Uruk-Hai" warrior in it.  If you removed the armor and clothing, covered it with hair, and shortened the hair on its head,  then that would come somewhat close.  I didn't see the Bigfoot's teeth, so I don't know if it had fangs (like the Uruk-Hai model) or human-like teeth.  But the Uruk-Hai looked enough like the Bigfoot I saw to bring back memories.

Not a pleasant sight, at night by the light of a full moon.

It does look fake now that I look at it...

Your right about the flat look :( . Oh well, I don't want BigFoot to be officially discovered.

Does make you wonder if BF isn't the decendant/remnants of the losers in the battle for middle earth especially when some escaped in the final battle scene as Mordor fell.

HOLY COW!!

That looks like something that me and 3 friends saw east of Tampa, FL one night while out popping rabbits with pellet rifles back in 1988 or so.

We were using flashlites to get rabbits to eat when something looking just like that ran within 15ft of all four of us, kinda turning to look at us as it went by.  Scared the living crap out everyone to the point we wouldn't go back into that area with anything less then our deer rifles or shotguns.

It was along I-4 in an old phosphate mine or dig out area the used to make over pass ramps for the interstate.  3 lakes/ponds with a rather large wooded/thicket area surrounding it.  We called the area "The pits", because of the dug up areas.

I believe it's the general consensus among the bigfoot community that this picture is a fake.
