BLR 450 marlin

Has anybody got any experience with the Browning BLR in 450 marlin ?
How's the recoil compared to say a 300wsm in a win mod 70 or a single shot NEF in 45-70 ?

I would call it "stout, but manageable".  I've no experience with the 300WSM, but I don't think the 450M is as bad as my 338WM.  Weight of the rifle definitely does affect the recoil.  The recoil out of the 450M bolt I have is a lot more tame, but it weighs about 3 pounds more than the BLR.  I also have the 450M in the Marlin Guide Gun and recoil from it is about the same as the BLR.  I would think that a full-house 45-70 load from the NEF would be equivalent to the 450M out of the BLR or GG.

Thanks for the reply regarding the BLR chambered for 450 Marlin.My NEF with full fore 45-70's were quite enough for me shooting from the bench.20 rounds from the bench and i knew i had been shooting something more stout than my 308 Win.
My buddy went to africa a few times several years ago and he asked me to help him sight in his 375 H&H.From the bench-the 1st shot cut his eyebrow with the scope-ouch ! My 1st shot -i basically had too loose a grip and ended up basically getting punched in the nose with my own thumb.But i am looking for a hard-hitting black bear gun/north eastern NY deer gun.
