I saw a CD cattleman at a local dealer and liked the feel of it.  Who's building them for CD?  I know they're not the top of the list as far as repros go but for a fun-gun, it may be the ticket.  I read a favorable review in a magazine but don't remember which magazine it was.

Any owners out there?

I saw an internet article last night while surfing and it said the Charles Dalys were made by Pietta.

I have owned several Pietta revolvers, both black powder front loaders and Colt SAA copies in .45LC. They are certainly worth the money, and I have never had any function problems with any of these guns.
They make a large number of the cap and ball revolvers sold by Navy Arms and Dixie Gun Works, and have been making these for decades.
They also make the Liberty line of SAA copies, if I'm not mistaken.

You ever read a non-favorable review in a magazine?  The writers/publishers aren't likely to distribute anything bad about any gun which the manufacturer has supplied them and risk losing advertising dollars.
