I believe RNS is using the CZ for the 550 Magnum.

CZ is offering a 505 Gibbs in a production gun now.

You can also build a .585 Nyati or a .600 Over Kill on a 550 safari. I have a .585 Nyati on a Brno 602 which is the old version of the cz 550 safari.

What about 600 nitro or is the 600 overkill not a rimmed brass. Thanks!

go over to the accurate reloading forums that is where the .600 OK was invented, it cal launch a 900 gr .620" woodleigh at 2300 fps.

It is not rimmed and therefore can be done on a cz 550.

I have a.585 Nyati and I think thats as far as I want to go :shock: that will send a 750 gr woodleigh out at 2550 fps with full powered loads.

Currently I load the 650 gr black powder woodleigh bullet (for expansion on smaller stuff) to 2500 fps and it is the most awsome killer on undersized stuff I have wittnessed to date.

Ed Plumber at AHR build them and apparently there very good guns. I am unsure of the price !!
