My PRS molds arrived today, I can hardly wait to cast some bullets and try them out. They look really nice.

I thought it was still a couple weeks away. Didn't realize the time had slipped up on us already. Didn't get mine yet.

So far I have been spending all day fighting with my propane burner in an attempt to turn my wheelweights into ingots. I thought I still had time before the mold would arrive. Look like Marshall Graybeards call spurred 'em into action!! I think I have finally got the burner figured out though and I should have ingots to work with tomorrow or Friday. If anyone else is more ahead of the game than I am, let me know how the mold works.

:D Howdy ,
I made two pairs of mold handles today and am still waiting for mine to get here . :(  I know that the 6 cavity has three handles on it but one is smaller in diameter . Maybe I'll make a couple of those tomorrow .    The price they charge is against my grain when I can make them a lot cheaper ( read that frugle ) .

Hey Ho Peddler!

Proud as a gamecock that ye be using my lube recipe and boolits.  It has a rather cumbersome list of ingredients and alterations may not work out well.  If you are short on the ingredients, then there is nothing wrong with the Emmert's recipe I also gave in same post.  PRS lube is way better than it needs to be with the PRS bullet.  Having said that; I have TWO new recipies planned for initial producton and testing soon.  I am rather excited about them both.  They likely will not be better than PRS lube, but they will be less expensive to make and hopefully just as good ----- Geee, I guess that would be better!.  When I get the low down on them, I will report.

Mine showed up yesterday, but the handles I ordered with it either didn't get sent or are lost in transit. Gonna call Lee today and see if they shipped them.

I finally got to cast some PRS bullets. I cast about a thousand of which 850 were "good" ones. That was my first time with a bottom pour pot and an aluminum mold. It took a while to get the hang of it, and when I did catch on I realized my 10# Lee production pot is way too small!! I ended up keeping a pot of melted lead on the propane burner to refill the Lee with. I need to run them through the lube sizer and then I'll load some up and hopefully give them a try next week (weather permitting). Has anyone else shot any yet??
