I just read on another forum about the surplus yugo 7,62x25 having problems like split cases and spewing hot gases in the shooters face. I have also heard of this problem with primer pockets with new S&B ammo too.( one incident) I have also heard of the S&B ammo being inconsistant too each round crono's different nothing is the same it varies.

Reading this makes me think its time to buy either better quality made ammo like from REED or reload we don't seem to have much of a choice. These surplus guns are getting higher in cost and scarce too. I have some fine examples to be taking chances on ammo ruining them. There's a time to be cheap/frugal but not at the expense of a fine surplup. I think its a wake up call for not using any surplus 7,62x25 ammo and to be choosey on what new ammo we send down the pipe too. becareful, be safe!!!!

I was going to jump on the yugo 7,62x25 but now i'm kind of shying away from it. I was going to order more S&B and I won't do that either.
My dealer gave me a free box of the bulgie stuff which is MG ammo.
