Hunting License

Picked up my 5 day Oklahoma Hunting Licence Saturday.
Oklahoma is going to get rich off of us :shock:  $47.50

Was going to get a yearly but at over $140.00 think I will just hunt in Kansas.

Did get me an Oklahoma sunburn Saturday.
Had fun down on the Great Salt Plains.
My son thought it was neet that we walked out about 1/2mile from shore and the water only being 4foot deep(thats being kind was only about 3 1/2foot max).

Good thing its only May it could have been hot :grin: only got to 100degress over the weekend.

Just wait til June I see 110 in the shade 120 in sun :shock:

Yeah...I lived up in "Tax-ahoma" for 24 years...guess I had better mention that depending on what highways you guys take out there...ya gotta PAY to drive on um... :roll:  There is a turnpike from Tulsa to Joplin Mo goes thru Vinita,a mental hosp is there, there are signs on the hiway that reads "caution Hitchhikers may be escaping inmates". I was driving up to Miami one time and noticed someone had very cleanly "doctored" the signs... They read " Caution Hitchhikers may be escaping taxpayers"  :-D  It's a pretty state in places though..kinda miss it but not the shake-down sooooo....best bring some money boys!!!   Tax rate is  about 8 cent's to the dollar on EVERYTHING you buy... :wink:
