Favorite Factory .45 Loads For Hunting

I don't have a .45 LC yet, but am leaning towards the SBH Bisley in .45.  In the catalogs I have at home Rem, Hornady, Winchester they do not list much in the way of .45 hunting loads.  Hornady has a cowboy action load and I think Winchester has a .45 Magnum (is that the same as the .45 LC).  Are there any good factory loads out there.  I think Corbon and Buffalo Bore have some probably.  Thanks for any information.

The Black Hawk in 45 Colt begs to be handloaded to bring out its potential.  While factory loads are capable of taking deer at close range, the shooter is still limited.  If you don't load your own, the Corbon and Buffalo Bore cartridges are an option.  I think the Winchester load to which you arey refering is their mild Casull load, which appoximates what the Ruger can handle in 45 Colt.  It will not fit in your chamber

The .45 Mag is an entirely different round than the .45LC.  To begin with the .45 Mag is a rimless case, basically an elongated .45 auto.  It is an excellent round for small game (ie whitetail deer and down).  With a velocity average of 1500fps I don't like it for bears or anything larger.  I have a Contender barrel chambered for that round.

The 45 Win Mag is about the same power as the 44 MAG and a hot 45 L/C.  Though not many guns chambered for it.  I had a Ruger Super Redhawk in 454 Casull the was modified to shot with moonclips and I shot the 45 Win Mags in it. Quick to load 6 at a time.  :D

PMC has a 300 gr JSP with 1250 MV, I'm trying to locate some locally for my .45 Colt Bisley Hunter. These go for about $24 for a box of 50 onnline. Some others recommended to me were:

CorBon has the following loads:

265 gr Bonded Core Hollow Point @ 1375 fps
300 gr JSP @ 1300 fps
335 gr Hard Cast @ 1050 fps.

 Buffalo Bore:
260 JHP
300 Speer JFN

Grizzly Handgun:
260 Bonded Core JFP
300 Cast Performance LFNGC

Haven't tried any yet though...

Thanks everyone for the feedback.  Sounds like some potent loads are available if you don't handload.  Used to on the 7 Mag so might have to get back in it for these revolver cartridges.  I know there is also a .45 shotshell load available too.  Thanks again.
