I've also heard of potential 1-1/2" accumulation.

Maybe another day - it's a bit far for me to drive to a wet-weather shoot.

With a bit of luck the other two days will be better.

And it just MAY be that two of us have enough sense (however unpopular it may be) to come in out of the rain.

Radar there now (8:20am) looks like heavy rain over the whole Winchester area.

I hope it clears soon.

Yeah,,,,,like when has the weatherman ever been right? <grin>

It cleared off right before the match and turned into a purdy day! Balls were flying everywhere. Had two big 8" original mortars in the match also. It turned out a great day. Next up was the repeater match with smoothbore right behind it.

Shame ya'll let ah lil H2O chase ya away! <snicker>

There's always the Fall Nationals. I'm told that's even bigger than the Spring skirmishes.

One of the fellows that works for me is a regular N-SSA participant and a top shooter on his team. An ugly fiber optic cable cut prevented both of us from attending, and he's still getting major (but good-natured) grief from his team for missing the event.

Anyone know the dates for the Fall event?
