Picked up my Stevens 200 25-06, was 262.00 out the door. Looks like a very good rifle for the price, fore end looks free floated . Now for a scope and the range!

What scope are you planning on mounting?

I guess good minds think alike.   I also just got the 200 in 25.06.  I am putting a 4x12 Busnell Banner on it.  I get my mounts and scope today.  I do not have my dies and supplies to load for the 25.06 this weekend, so I will probably buy a cheap box remington core lokts just to try.  Sounds like they do have accuracy potential.

I was curious did you guys see in the brochure in the gun box,  that at savage the 25.06 is test fired with 90 grain Sierra BTHP.  I bought some of these and some hornady 117 BTSP to reload.  I have H4350, Varget and H4831 to try.  I hope this is a good place to start.  I will let you know after next weekend.
