Nagant revolver finish?

I just received a Nagant from SOG.   Looks like it was spray painted black.  You can chip away the paint, where it was stamped by the importer, with your fingernail!  

Are they all coming in like this now or did I get a POS?

I think you got a POS!

I've had 3 and still have one and they were all blued...NOT painted!!!  :eek:

Sent it back today.  Suppose to be replaced with 'best available in stock - blued.'  I'll let ya know.

Well, it took a week to get a replacement shipped but I'm a happy camper now.  SOG sent a really nice, blued, 1944 - Izhevsk arsenal with accessories.

glad to hear sog took care of the problem. i just ordered a nagant revolver today and now i'm wondering what it will look like.
