INFO ON 351 BOTTLENECK CARTRIDGE AND RIFLE

I am an Arizona resident, I metal detect and came across a bottleneck 351 cartridge, I believe its a winchester and the rifle was made starting around 1906 ....I am interested to know about the rifle it was used in and when production was stopped on it, any other info will be appreciated, I have surfed some of the cartridge sites already but not too much info .  thanks.   :roll: [/b]

 Any headstamps on the case? Is it rimmed? What length is the case? Or am I wrong in assuming you might have a case to check?
 Winchester made an old rimmed case called the .35 Winchester. It was developed in around 1903 for the model 1895 lever action, and used a 200-250 grain bullet at about 2200 fps. It was a bottleneck case of about 2.41" length.
