o.k. kiddies,  i know this wasnt killed by a handgun, but i know everyone here will appreciate this one.  no, this isnt an internet hoax.  this is bear that was hit south of my place last week.   spring bear, 625#.  come fall, he would have been bearzilla

i didnt see the vehicle.  

another big bear was hit here last year and that one went 550.  the very corner of the front bumper hit the bear in the shoulder at 30mph,  the bear laid down in the ditch and died.  the lady that hit it couldnt believe she had hit it hard enough to kill it.  you couldnt even see the damage to the bumper on that one.   like anything else, strange things happen.
