I am looking for a gunsmith that specializes in Ruger #1 guns. Looking to have a custom gun built. Any suggestions?

Hi AJ,
Try Garland Gilbreath at Triple G in Stephenville TX

or, you can't go wrong with SSK!

Thanks guys!
The 338 RUM crossed my mind. I also have a friend wanting a .257 Weatherby Mag on a #1.

Not a problem for either caliber but use a forearm tension screw on any #1 for the best accuracy The #1 is a great action for a single shot and I have built many for my customers. If you need any advice give me a call 207-938-3595.
