south texas hog/javelina hunt

Here is all I know......THAT  IS WAAAAAAAAAAAY OVER PRICED for javelina.

They are pests and most of your ranches down south WANT them killed.  I would suggest calling a few more.  I will do some checking myself and see what i can dig up.

I know the Callahan Ranch in Laredo had a 4 day bowhunt for javelinas for $125-$150.

Unless you are planning a bow hunt or pistol hunt, I wouldn't waste my time hunting javelinas.     I like javelinas, but only about as much sport as armadillos.  
Foul smelling, small and not tasty on the table.    But I admire their courage and ferocity defending their young.
Find a cheap exotic doe hunt instead.     Great eating and more challenging.

I reread this and decided I must have been having a bad day.   :oops:  I have hunted them with a bow and that is fun.    But I hope you are able to find a wild hog hunt where javelinas are thrown in as a bonus.
