Just a reminder to everyone that, today April 7 is the anniversary of the second day of the battle of Shiloh.
The first major battle that my G-Greatfather fought in with the 70 OVI.
After the 1st battle at Bull Run and with the battle of Shiloh it became obvious to most everyone that the war would not end quickly.
They were in it for the long haul.
