Is $350 a good price for a 11-87 in 99% without box. help appreciated

It's certainly a fair price. Maybe not great depending on just which 11-87 it is but for sure it's not too high.

I would think that it was a good buy in the condition that you stated. I purchased a new one a few years ago and have been very satifisfied with it. my son shoots trap with it (therefore many shells through it) and we both have taken game with it. mine is a 20 gauge

It depends. What are you using it for? If it is a 26" Skeet version, and you want to use it for Trap, you'll probably have to get a longer spare barrel, and perhaps increase the highth of the comb. Likewise if it has a 2 3/4 chamber Trap model and you want to use it for ducks, you'll want to get a 3" chambered barrel. It's a good price if the shotgun configuration meets your intended uses.

My wife bought me my 11-87 in the early '90's and it's killed everything I've shot it at without problems. Maybe not on the first shot(those damn doves) but, it has always done it part in the harvesting of game.

Got my 11/87 in '91. No matter what kind of ammo, weather or conditions, it goes bang every time. They are great guns.
