Well, all I can say is "WOW"
« on: April 04, 2005, 12:01:20 PM »
I finally got to shoot my new FA 97 44 special this weekend.  Yikes, what a gun!!!   I am very pleased with the performance and handling of the pistol so far.  I've never owned a revolver with zero play in the cylinder.... :wink:

Anyway, I can and do highly recommend the FA 97 in 44 special.  I look forward to many years of shooting with it.  I doubt it will ever have a jacketed bullet in it.  I'd buy another with a 4-1/4" barrel if I had the resources.  I might have to gather some..... :lol:
Regards,

Tom

tominboise;

Congratulations on that fine revolver. I just got my 44 Special a couple of months ago. I'm still having fun making loads for it.
And... I've got to have another in 41 Magnum. But I still want it in the Model 97. I like the size and the carrying ease of the smaller frame.
Good choice and good shooting.
