How about a guy with a robe sandles and a bible

When I was working as a Forest Watchmen for the Maine Forest Service in the 70's I saw a guy on top Bigleow Mtn. and all he had was a big old bible sandals and a robe.  He was going to stay the night and there was other campers there so there was no room in the lean-to.  He had to sleep out in the open.  It rained for most of the night and he was gone in the morning.  I asked where he went the next morning and they said he had gotten up in the middle of the night and left.

That was the strangest thing I ever saw in the woods--- Of course there was always that well endowed girl hiking in panties and a tank top tee shirt. But she didn't look strange. :grin:

There was a man wandering around the nation spreading the gosple dressed like that. I saw him in my home town one time. I think we exchanged greetings once. I remember talking to somebody who had taken the time to talk to him a little bit. Turns out he didn't think he was Jesus, he just dressed in biblical type clothing to attract attention and spread the gosple. Still, sort of strange.
