I think not, must have a SB-2 reciever, all centerfire rifles do.Sb-1 is the shotgun reciever,it will handle shotgun and ML.I tried all the angles,JUst buy a rifle and start from there.

, Welcome aboard Sowdie. Come and visit often and feel free to jump in on anything, your always welcome here. It's like a big family afflicted by the same malady...Handi-itus. You see, we are all Handiholics!!! Some may just not know it yet, they think they can quit anytime (:-D). Your most likely affected already so you might as well jump in with both feet and enjoy yourself, the waters fine!!!....<><....

Welcome sowdie
, I started being a Handi-holic in 1998 and I can't seem to get rid of it!!
I really believe it got worst when I started reading this forum and reading what MSP Ret would write about Handi-rifles

So.. correct me if I'm wrong.. Both Toppers and Huntsmen have SB1 frames, correct? This means I can buy either and have the other fitted to it. I've got a buddy that wants a 20ga full choke and a muzzleloader on the same frame. All we've seen in the shops are modified chokes and he's under the impression that you can't fit a shotgun barrel to a Huntsman. I'm sure this has been hashed out many times before... sorry.

I won't correct you HH, you are correct. Tell your buddy he can put a 20 gauge barrel on that Huntsman frame and it will be perfectly safe....<><....
And to my friend Jerry Collins, I am so sorry to have infected you, it's just that it's so much fun I thought who other than you to share my enjoyable affliction with. Of course there are the other several hundred great guys that frequent this site, they deserve the same fate as the rest of us. After all, I tell my wife it's their fault I became infected in the first place!!! We'll just keep this between ourselves if it's OK, OK?....<><....
