Is it usual with feeding problems in a Winchester in 45 LC?

Sverre:  If you are using a falt nose bullet with a wide metplat in any caliber, you have to adjust the seating depth to allow for proper cycling and feeding.  I had to do that with my 94 Big Bores in 444 and after getting the adjustments and seating depth right the rifles shot like a charm.  HTH.  Mikey.

Like I said in a previous post, I don't have any problems with my Lee bullet, Speer semi wadcutters or any other store bought bullets.  I just crimp on the supplied groove and the feed fine.

I'd give a round nose bullet a try, before you make any mods. Just go buy a box, and try 'em.

Cannuck, could there be a safety issue using round nose bullets in a tube-feed rifle, or is there enough meplat on the bullets so it'll be safe? Just curious. jd45
