Doing a show in Las Vegas
« on: March 02, 2005, 04:46:23 PM »
We will be at the GUN & KNIFE SHOW in Las Vegas on March 19th & 20th.
The show is at the Cashman Center and is presented by R. K. Shows.
all of our Artillery pieces are currently Civil War models. If your in town stop in and say hi, and we'll chat a while. Just look for the Blue and the Gray. I am the Union Artillery officer, a Capitan, after all it's my gun Battery.  Nolan is the Confederate officer.  When we did a show in phoenix Nolan was much more popular.

Good luck at the show!  It's great to have fun while doing business.

I know the issues of Blue vs. Gray - living in SW Virginia and having a family history that came from the Phillidelphia area should spell it out!

DD, I Blue and oil the tube and all the hardware.  the carriage is Ash finished with Tung Oil.  The cannons were first build for display, in the entry way of a home, office or den, they look real good by the fire place.
Many people want to shoot the guns which they are fully funcitional.

Cannonmaker,

I'm in Las Vegas and I'll be at that show. I look forward to seeing (and touching  ) your products.  I have seen them on your website and they look great.  I hope you do well at the show.  It would be nice to see a few more toys in town.

Intoodeep - Hello  :D

Hope you enjoy the show in Las Vegas.

Really nice Avatar picture you have shown us. Looks like Two Bronze Napoleons, and 3 Confederate Parrott Rifles.

Do show more pictures.

Actually Rick, I wouldn't try to bring them in you carry-on...there is an awsome gun show at the Dulles convention center in northern Virginia that is far better than the Richmond show, and the Richmond show is a good one. I  have never seen a show with so many high dollar guns---doubles and drillings be being bought and sold.

They have cannons for sale at the show, but nothing of the quality of what you offer.  The bare wood/metal and painted metal/wood would probably sell like hotcakes.  Lot's of civlil war buffs around here.

I just wanted to say that I did get to meet with Cannonmaker (Rick) and Nolan on Saturday.  They are both very friendly guys and have some nice cannons.  Thanks to the both of them for taking some time to chat with me.  I hope that their trip/show was successful as, I would like to see more toys in this town.

The show in Las Vegas went real well.  Was good to meet a couple of cannon shooters and graybeard guys like intoodeep and Iv shooter.
A spectator on Sunday said he has a confederate Cannon and Limber passed down in his family for nearly 140 years.  There in  his wharehouse back east, and as you can guess, south of the Masion/Dixon line.  The man wants me to build a 1/3rd scale  of cannon and limber to display in his home. Conversations like this one sure makes the day interesting.
