I have everything I need to build a .308 Savage except for the action. I am wondering if I can buy a complete rifle in 22-250 and use that. The max oal for the 22-250 and .308 is different so I am unsure if Savage has accounted for this in the blind box magazines they fit to these rifles. I was hoping someone here would have one of these rifles in 22-250 and could measure the internal length of the box so I know what to expect.
