Thank you.

My sincere thanks to all who offered prayers for my dear wife during her illness. Despite her couragous fight and the valiant efforts of the ICU nurses and doctors she returned to Our Lord on February 21 at 6:40 pm. I was with her holding her hand and she was surrounded by people who loved her and that she loved. I miss her so much.

I cannot say that I have experienced the kind of loss that you are now experiencing.  But I do know, from what you have said, that you also have great joy that your wife is with our Lord.  No more pain or struggle.

I know that you will feel very alone, perhaps for a long time. But remember that sometimes God gives us "gifts" that He uses to amplify our desire to be with Him. The road may not have been of our choosing but God. in His sovereignty, knows what He is doing.  He knew before time that your wife would be with Him right now.  And that you would have to go thru the struggles of one being left behind (for a time). To help cut our ties with this world so that we will be drawn to Him more and more.  I will be praying for God to allow you to experience the comfort that only He can bring.
