Sims recoil pad for Tikka

I noticed about a month ago some of you were talking about a recoil pad specific for Tikka, part number 10011.  Any word if this is available yet?

But is that the one SPECIFICALLY for the Tikka or is it the one that ALSO fits the Tikka.  I bought the one that they say ALSO fits the Tikka but I didn't like the fit too much.

I spoke with Limbsaver last month and they said the new model would be out late this month.. Waiting for it!! Will make a post if I hear more.  It is supposed to be the most accurate fitting pad for the Tikka, so I will hold out for it.

Zachary,

what model tikka do you have?

i use the M595.  If you want to buy another pad for your gun, i'll gladly take the old one off your hands!

the Limbsaver #10112 will fit the Tikka T-3 perfectly.  I have two T-3's and fitted both with this recoil pad....perfect.  they really work too.  I'm not sure about one for the Tikka whitetail rifle.  I'd have one on that gun too if I knew which one would work.

Grubbs,

Zachary purchased that one if memory serves me right and it didn't fit very flush on his T3.. Each to it's own, I guess?

I'm not sure which one Zachary purchased, but it says right on the package that it fits the Tikka T-3 (among others).  Like I said, it fit perfectly both times.

I forgot the model number, but the one I purchased said it was for Tikka and wood stocked Remingtons.  It was not a perfect fit.  Specifically, it was mounted a bit lower than the stock, otherwise it was fine left to right.  Still, I'll wait for the new model to come out.

I see this thread is over 1 year old. I have a Tikka LAMINATE stock and am wanting to know if Sims makes one for wood.

I would really prefer a pad that looks factory instead of grinding one to match.
