I picked up a Green Mountain Barrel for my T/C Renegade from them (track of the wolf) several months ago.......first class service, and only a phone call away.....I've been well pleased with the barrel......and it's nice to speak to someone who speaks english without pressing a half a dozen buttons first!

I was looking at barrels they are 1-70 twist this should be great for round balls. Right? Round ball is all I will be shooting .

wheelgun,

A new barrel from CVA will cost you about $90, but it will be 1/48 twist.  A drop in barrel for it will probably require that you install a new tang and fit it all to your current lock.  I jst finished one and it really isn't to much work.

CVA's came with either a button hook or a tang hook, you will have to know which one you have.  Purchasing a new tang is no problem but it may have to inletted into the stock.

Good luck
