My Latest Big Bore

One of my latest big bores, a Ruger Redhawk in 45 Colt.

The Tyler T-Grip really improves the factory grips. The Ruger grips make the Redhawk feel like you are firing a cannon on a broomstick. What the factory grips lack, is front to back depth, and the T-Grip solves that. Very cheap, and well worth it.

Another grip option is the Butler Creek rubbers:

They are a great design, but I never have liked the "greasy" feel of rubber grips. I'd love to find a set exactly like this in WOOD!

Here a couple close ups of the Williams fiber optic front sight . I like it a lot. Very easy to pick up, and it glows even under very low light.

Nice gun. Looks like one of these is the only thing missing: http://www.bowenclassicarms.com/shop/default.asp?action=_top&category=3

Hey, nice pistol.  I have a similar redhawk in 44 mag, and have been looking high and low for an improved grip setup - it looks like the T-Grip may be it!  Are they hard to put on?  Does the revolver handle well?  I tried a set of Hogue Monogrips on it, and also the Butler creek grips, but I have medium sized hands, and they both felt too bulky to me.  The t-grip looks like it fills in where I need it.

They look to cost $18 plus $6.95 shipping direct from Tyler.  Is that the best place to pick one up/

Many thanks,
Regards,

Tom
