Have used Norma in 6.5 X 55, excellent.
Have not tried lapua.

I use Winchester bulk brass in mine. It's much cheaper. It works for me.

I personally think the Win/Rem class of brass is less expensive in the long run, even if it only holds up to 1/3 the reloading of the Norma/Laupa class. There may be an additional reason besides value to load Norma/Laupa, but I can't think what it could be. Hair splitting accuracy and sound reliability can be easily had without it.

I personly like the Yugo brass. I buy it once fired but you can buy it new at times . Get more reloads than Winchester/PMC. and the flash holes are drilled.

The yugo brass is the best and lasts for way over 15 reloadings.  The FNM 6,5 ammo is yugo made ammo.  The last sale that sportsmansguide had the FNM FMJ ammo was $5 a box for 500rds delivered that was cheaper than buying empty new cases and i get to shoot it once too.  There are more places on the net to get this FNM ammo too.               BigBill

I just reloaded some FNM cases in 7,5 french and the brass was good to work with it must beall yugo brass.

Yeah, me too.  Don't care for Remington brass as it always seems too soft.  Lawdog

Good stuff for snop appeal.  That Win. brass from midway works for me.  I reload it 5 or six times or until the primer hole gets to big.  Some Sage told me that Norma drilled out it"s flash hole? Well bless my soul, just what hunters need, a drilled hole.
